     General dog training information :

  • This is a type of physical exercise for both you and your dog. Please consult with your Doctor and or your Veterinarian before you start any type of exercise program.
  • Wear comfortable fitting clothing like shorts and t-shirts, sweat pants or a jogging outfit.
  • Wear clothing in layers, so that when training you may remove layers to remain comfortable.
  • If you miss one of your scheduled training sessions, make up training classes are available. See a C.C.C.C. trainer for make up times.
  • Dog treats used during training sessions are to be provided by the handler. They should be a soft treat in nature, like a piece of cheese, a hot dog, chicken, or any soft dog treat. The wearing of a hip pack is encouraged, while using treats for training. No Milk Bone type treats or any other treats that are hard will be allowed because they will leave crumbs.
  • Feed your dog a light meal about a couple of hours before your class starting time.
  • Please allow your dog time to go to the bathroom outside our facility before you begin your training.
  • If your dog has a potty accident is the responsibility of the handler to clean up after their own dogs inside and outside our training facilities
  • Cincinnati Canine Companion Centers are not liable for the loss of any dogs that might escape on or from our premises or for any lost articles of patrons.
  • For safety reasons our insurance carrier insists that all of our customers training with us must wear rubber soled shoes, like a gym or tennis shoe. Under no circumstances will sandals, any type of loose fitting foot apparel like a thong or a floppy, high heels of any type or any shoes that have a heel will be permitted onto the training floor.
