Puppy Class Dog Training

	Welcome to Cincinnati Canine Companion Centers "Puppy Class". Our trainers for this class are Mary Crisp and Mary Jo Gentile (Owner). The Puppy Class consists of a 3 week training session. The first week handlers and dogs are introduced to a 2 hour sit down class orientation with their dogs. The orientation gives an in depth background into dog behavior, general dog care such as feeding, house breaking, and general everyday information needed to raise a puppy along with a question and answer period for the handlers. Afterwards, a brief training session covering the basic sit, down and come commands are taught to the handlers. Handlers are instructed in the proper training method and are given homework to perform over the next week with their dogs at home. In the second and third week new commands and training skills are taught to give an overall balanced training session that is geared to the given ages of the puppies.

	These pictures are of some handlers and their dogs at the start of a recent Puppy Class in November of 2003. As you can see the handlers are applying the training given by our instructors. It looks like everyone is having a good time!
	If you are interested in joining one of our upcoming Puppy Classes, please download and view our current class schedule found on our "Scheduling Page" for availability. Puppy classes are usually generated from a waiting list of interested customers. When the list is large enough to start a class you will be notifed. You will need to contact Mary Crisp to ensure that you are placed upon our Puppy Class waiting list.
